Artist's Description
This semi-abstract work is one of a series where I obfuscate - jumbling many different elements from the flower world at different scales and thus extending the viewer´s field of vision. Note: the painting is intended to hang "vertically" i.e. 90 degrees to that shown, although this is of course optional.
About Georg Douglas
Originally educated as a geologist (PhD), I have worked in this field and taught for 36 years until retirement. I have been painting full time since 2005 and have held several solo and joint exhibitions. Although living in Iceland for most of my life, I was born and raised in Co. Derry, N.
