"Leap" conveys the energy and movement in one of the moves of Irish dance. The figures may represent several dancers or the same single dancer at different stages of the move.
Originally educated as a geologist (PhD), I have worked in this field and taught for 36 years until retirement. I have been painting full time since 2005 and have held several solo and joint exhibitions. Although living in Iceland for most of my life, I was born and raised in Co. Derry, N. Ireland which explains the interest in Irish subject matter. I would be delighted for you to visit my official website here: artgeorg.com

Georg Douglas replied:
Hello and thank you for that Afons. (By the way, is it not the "Dance Painting" group rather than "Impressionism"?). Best regards, Georg.
